About Taylor:

Taylor Turner is a native Austinite and has been playing music professionally for fifteen years, covering every genre from americana to free jazz to shoegaze. In addition to dozens of smaller groups based in the central Texas area, Taylor has performed with the Austin Symphonic Band, UT Jazz Orchestra, Tapestry Dance Company, and Penfold Theatre, as well as toured internationally with rock, folk, and bluegrass bands. Taylor has also recorded bass and guitar on one to two records a year since his high school days, both with friends in their garages and as a session player at King Electric, 12th Street Sound, Estuary, 512 Studios, Arlyn, and Wire Recording. Taylor graduated from UT Austin in 2018 with his BM in Jazz Performance, and while attending UT began teaching private lessons on upright/electric bass and guitar.
