About Paul:

Based in Austin, Texas, saxophonist Paul Klemperer plays an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, American popular music and world music. He performs regularly as a bandleader and collaborates with many artists across a range of musical styles. He is both an experienced performer and teacher, with a masters degree in ethnomusicology (University of Texas), and over 40 years of playing experience. He teaches private and group classes at his private studio, and leads a monthly Community Jazz Jam. He is the director of Creative SEA (Creative Social Engagement through the Arts), a nonprofit which provides cultural programming to a multigenerational and multicultural constituency in Austin.
